Small things that you and I can do to make the world a better place to live...
Now am sure, you would be recalling at least few such instances where you committed such mistakes, and most of the times it would have gone unnoticed by your own conscience. Now if your question is ‘Is it necessary to be conscientious about such mistakes?’, answer is ‘Yes, of course’. I think it makes sense to remind ourselves here that, we don’t have effective garbage management system, number of villages in the country don’t have pure drinking water or electricity. Ignorance in following traffic rules is leading to mishaps like road accidents, and taking peoples’ lives. Due to the careless, greedy lifestyle that we are having today, we have created monsters like pollution beyond control, global warming etc.
Are these facts not enough to make us feel a little more responsible about our own actions that can harm the world further. Now if you are curious to know what are those small things I can do to improve things, here are a few.
· Whenever, wherever you see electrical equipments being on and surely not under use, switch them off.
· Use water as effectively as possible.
· Reduce polythene bag usage. Carry a cotton or jute bag or at least an old plastic bag when you go for purchasing.
· Always make sure to put trash in dustbin. Dispose chemical containing trash like old batteries with precautionary measures.
· Use more of public transport.
· Avoid using chemical based products, cosmetics, medicine.
· Consume more chemical free, home made food items.
· Save paper, fill in those empty pages in your notebook before you dispose it.
· Recycle paper, plastic items, glass items, mobile phones etc..
· Avoid buying unnecessary items and piling them up and trashing them one day.
And you will find many more yourselves when you are conscious about it..
Give it a thought. It actually doesn’t take too much of time or effort to avoid such mistakes. For instance, just think about it, how long does it take to switch off a light or a fan when you are moving out of a room?
Most of us are aware of all these small things we can do, but only few actually do it. This article is just a reminder, to tell you that it’s not too tough to follow these simple things in your busy lives. If each one of us follow these simple things in life and make our family and friends do the same, it will make a real big impact.

THANK GOD...
Now lets see how to make God happy so that he keeps us happy:):)
Make a list of things for which you should be really thankful to God. It might entail the loved ones in your life, your material possessions, your personal strengths, the lessons you have learnt etc..When we do this we will realize, that even before thanking God for all the good things he has given we have started questioning him for small little problems we have in life.
Once such a feeling is in, it's very easy to acknowledge God wholeheartedly. Once you start acknowledging God from heart and start enjoying life, He will be pleased with your beautiful soul and will keep it elated always. It's really so easy and obviously worth it.
Thank God for having created you as a human being. Because, among millions of organisms only human beings have the power to think and alter their life by altering their attitudes.
Life becomes much more meaningful when we realize that life is not so big that we can lose our time on negative emotions. So consciously choose to be happy under all the situations and move on.
Life comes once. Live it to the fullest.
Lets realize the fact that each of us have immense potential in us and its utilization is in our hands. Lets have a very positive attitude towards life and nothing will look tough in life. So thank God each and every minute for giving us an opportunity to live this life.
Because, life is really beautiful.

Learn it from Children
Here are few lessons for you too (straight from the hearts of all the innocent, saintly kids):
‘I make life beautiful with my smile’- that’s what I feel any child would be telling, when it smiles at you. Try and add happiness to others’ life and to yours of course by smiling, being cheerful always. Nobody is a stranger in the world.Today's friends were yesterday's strangers and today's strangers are tomorrow's friends. As kids do, don’t mind smiling at strangers.
Forget, forgive and get going. Hardly do you find kids taking revenge or keep grudge
in their hearts. No matter how much you punish a kid, once it’s done with its crying for that, it will be immediately back into its playful mood. And after some time, if you approach the same child, it welcomes your presence with the same, innocent grin. ( Think of what happens in we, the elders’ case. It’s only the false pride in us that spoils our relationship with our loved ones. We find it so difficult to forget and forgive when someone elder to us scolds or tries to advise).
Be yourself, don't hesitate to express your feelings to loved ones. Kids cry, laugh, show anger, fight and thus keep expressing their true feelings often, without keeping them bottled up. At the same time, they never let the past affect their present. They are always themselves uninfluenced by anybody's presence. So, learn to be expressive that will maintain your emotional health. But at the same time, dont inflict your bad moods on others. Learn to come out of the gloomy emotions sooner enough lest you should lose more of the precious moments of life.
Don't let the curiosity in you die and enjoy discovering new things and learning about new people.I love seeing my little nephew's eyes twinkle, when i speak of anything that's new to him. And the joy and curiosity in him, when i start narrating a new story to him is simply awesome. That's such a true happiness from heart you rarely get to see in elders. Isn't that something to be followed?
Laugh more, love more, live more.
And an evergreen lesson that kids teach everybody is that castes or religion, poverty or richness never count in true humanity. For kids all are same, all are humans.
Dont all these make for living life real big? i hope this article inspires the readers to be childlike(not childish), and live life with a true positive spirit.
This article is a small dedication to my little nephews Satwik and Srujan, who are my youngest teachers.

A nice book!.. find out
This book is a nice narrative of life of Mr.Ratan Samrat, a twenty-five-year-old Yale graduate born in USA to an immigrant Indian couple, who comes to India in quest of his true self. A confused soul, able to fit neither in Indian nor in American culture completely, finds it imperative to find his roots, for him to accept his present.
Mr. Rattan Samrat, the protagonist, an investment banker on wall street earning half-a-million dollars a year, makes this unconventional decision to quit the job and join IIM Bangalore for an MBA. The author has given a vivid description of the two years life of the lad in IIM Bangalore, helping the reader find out what of all these turn out to be for Ratan.
Ratan comes to India seeking answers to his questions, but finds himself more puzzled in first few days of his IIM life. He makes friends with Vinod, an ex-army officer and Sarkar, an engineer graduate from IIT. Vinod, with a gallantry award to his credit, having seen number of deaths and himself having come out of thirty days of coma after Kargil war, comes to IIM to see more life outside. He feels that all that is taught in IIM is theoretical bullshit. Sarkar, the Finance Minister’s very genius son feels nothing like exams and other stuff in the B-school really matter.
The friendship with these two weird people takes Ratan places, from going around in local places in search of drugs to going to Himalayas for vipassana. Initially, in the company of highly talented co-students, his confidence on his intellect plummets. Happiness seems to be eluding him all the time. Life takes a huge U turn. How the different experiences in India help Ratan define himself is what is to be found out from reading the book.
Though the book is a fiction, the characters seem to be very much alive. Innumerous thoughts and confusions that clog characters’ minds, which are very tough to be put in words, are found to be very well described in the book. Number of subtle emotions, thoughts expressed with such ease leaves the reader amazed.
The author has been able to highlight both good and bad elements of Indian living, the education system etc., even though the characters like Sarkar seem to be highly cynical. Overall, a brilliant book and a must read for ones, who have got to take decisions regarding their career and life options.

A blog on blogging???!!!
Knowingly or unknowingly rather wantingly or unwantingly, some things keep pending for a long time. That's what hapeened with my plan to blog here. A learning from this, 'things don't happen, one will have to make them happen'.
Before starting to blog, to motivate myself, I made a good analysis on reasons for making onself an active blogger. This is what i found out.
- There are innumerous aspiring writers (am one too), who just don't understand where to start. For them i would say, blogging is the best thing to start with.
- When one starts blogging regulary, one will start giving more attention to day-to-day things, subconsciously seeking for new topics, experiences to write on. This is bound to make life still more interesting for you.
- When you become an active blogger, there are more chances that you find it intersting to follow others' blogs, which is likely to increase your knowledge and give a better insight into different aspects of life. Reading blogs can be lots of fun too.
- More interesting thing is that penning down your thoughts can be a good exercise to your mind, helping you nurture your creativity.
- And most importantly, your blogs can be helpful to the who read them. Others can learn from your mistakes and experiences, and a lot of them can benefit from your knowledge. It's always good to be a 'giver'.
I hope this blog will be helpful to those lazy bloggers who dont get enough motivation to blog. Now since i gave a big 'lecture' on blogging, i will make sure i will be a an active, happy blogger.
Happy blogging.
